DV Production Steps:

  1. Shoot your video
  2. Input (digitize) your video into a desktop editing system, such as Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere
  3. Edit you project
  4. Add titles using the built-in titling system.
  5. Do some color correction, if you feel up to it and you feel your project needs it.
  6. Audio -
  7. We dub your DV picture to a Digital Betacam.
  8. Then we layback your finished audio to the Digital Betacam. If you are trying for an international distribution, we will put the stereo D, M, & E (dialog, music, & effects) on channel 1 & 2 and the M & E on channel 3 & 4. Or we can just mix down to a mono track and put the composite D, M, & E on channel 1 & 2.
  9. You're done...almost
  10. You may feel you need more color correction. If so, you can supervise a color correction session. This process transfers from the existing Digital Betacam to another color corrected Digital Betacam.
  11. Digital Betacam is the most popular distribution tape format in the world.
  12. Now you can make some DVD's and VHS's for film festivals and to interest distributors in purchasing your project.
  13. Final step - Become rich and famous and have a great life.
